Luxury Destination Wedding at Khimsar Fort
A 3-day celebration where heritage meets luxury. We brought a vibrant, cross-cultural experience to life for Priya and Nimlan at the historic Khimsar Fort in Rajasthan.
The celebration began with an intimate welcome dinner for the bridesmaids and groomsmen at Khimsar Fort. It was the perfect way to kick off the festivities with the couple's closest friends.

We began the wedding festivities with a Ganesh Puja to seek blessings. The decor embraced the groom's Tamil heritage with traditional South Indian elements like brass lamps and fragrant flowers.

About A Fairytale in the Fort: Priya & Nimlan's Wedding
Managing a destination wedding in a remote fort requires more than just design. For this 3-day celebration, I balanced distinct cultural requirements, such as a traditional Tamil Ganesh Puja and a vibrant Punjabi Haldi, while overseeing the complex logistics of hosting over 200 guests in the desert.
Bringing a vision to life at a remote location like Khimsar Fort is a major exercise in logistics and sensitivity. When Priya and Nimlan asked me to manage their wedding, the primary goal was to honor two different heritages. We needed to transition from the serene, traditional Ganesh Puja, which highlighted the groom's Tamil roots, to the high-energy Phulkari Aangan theme for the bride's Punjabi Haldi.
The technical side of a 3-day event involves more than decor. I coordinated with production teams for sound, lighting, and power setups in a fort environment where infrastructure cannot be taken for granted. We also managed guest hospitality, from airport transfers to room allocations, so the couple could focus on spending time with their families.
My approach is simple. I take over the vendor communication so you do not have to. I handle the budget sheets, the minute-by-minute schedules, and the crisis management that inevitably pops up during any large event. Whether it is a fort in Rajasthan or a resort abroad, I build the planning structure around your specific needs. I focus on creating real moments rather than just following a template. If you are looking for someone to manage the chaos while you enjoy your wedding, let’s talk about your vision.
