I specialize in clean, contemporary mehandi styles. Whether you want a bold mandala for a festival or elegant Arabic vines for a party, I create designs that use negative space for a striking, modern look.

A classic and perfectly executed mandala design. The intricate layers and sharp lines make this a timeless and eye-catching choice for any occasion.

This video shows the application of a modern design that combines a central mandala-like motif with a stylish 'jaal' or net pattern on the fingers.

A very modern and minimalist design for Eid, featuring crescent moons and stars. This is perfect for someone who wants a chic and symbolic henna tattoo.

A stylish back-hand design featuring a semi-mandala cuff and a delicate net pattern on the fingers. It's a beautiful fusion of traditional and modern aesthetics.

An elegant Arabic-style 'bail' or vine that flows from the wrist to the index finger, adorned with delicate hanging elements.

A beautiful black and white image of a modern floral vine design. The use of negative space makes the flowers pop.

About this collection

I make my own fresh, natural henna paste, which is why these designs have such sharp lines and consistent color. For my mandalas and Arabic vines, I focus on spacing and symmetry, ensuring the henna does not just look good when applied, but stains deeply and stays rich for days.

Modern mehandi is all about balance. My mandala and Arabic designs focus on letting the skin breathe, using negative space to make the patterns pop rather than covering everything in dense, heavy lines. This approach is perfect for festivals like Karwachauth, Eid, or even casual parties where you want a chic, less traditional look.

Why this style works

Arabic patterns rely on a 'bel' (vine) structure, which flows naturally across the hand. It is fast to apply but looks elegant. Mandalas, on the other hand, offer a central focal point that feels modern and graphic. I often combine these with delicate net (jaal) work on the fingers to give depth to the design.

My natural paste

I do not use store-bought cones because they often have chemicals. I prepare my own natural henna paste using herbal ingredients and essential oils. This is crucial for modern, delicate designs—the paste must flow smoothly from the cone to create those fine lines, and it must stain dark to show off the intricacy of the patterns.

Getting the right design

When you book, let me know if you prefer a specific style. If you want a minimalist mandala on the palm with simple finger patterns, or a more flowing Arabic vine, I can tailor the density to your preference. Even for these modern styles, I take care to apply a sealant after the design so the color remains vibrant for 7 to 10 days.
