Featured Architectural Projects and Design Philosophy
A selection of our work showcasing the dialogue between built form and nature, featuring neo-classical structures and integrated landscape design.
The Mehalin Farm project, set on a 4.5-acre property. The architectural form is designed in a neo-classical style, presenting a clean, strong facade against the expansive green landscape I planned to enhance its grandeur.
From the den of Mehalin Farm, the landscape becomes an extension of the living space. The design incorporates floor-to-ceiling glazing to frame the view and create a seamless transition between the curated interior and the natural exterior.
This upcoming farmhouse project showcases a fusion of modern architectural lines with traditional Indian materials. The colonnaded veranda creates a shaded transitional space, overlooking the grounds and connecting the home to its rustic setting.
The drawing room at Mehalin Farm is defined by its connection to the outdoors. Large glazed openings not only provide abundant natural light but also integrate the exterior water features and greenery into the neo-classical interior aesthetic.
The entrance to Mehalin Farm is designed as a formal threshold between the architecture and the landscape. Symmetrical plant arrangements and layered steps guide visitors inward, establishing a sense of arrival and order.
About Featured
We approach every project by analyzing the site's natural assets. Whether it is a 4.5-acre estate like Mehalin Farm or a compact urban plot, our primary goal is to frame the outdoors so it feels like a continuation of your living room, rather than just a view through a window.
Our design philosophy is rooted in the careful juxtaposition of mass and void. For us, architecture is not just about the structure, but how that structure interacts with light and the surrounding landscape. In projects like Mehalin Farm, we utilized neo-classical elements and soft beige tones to ground the building within its extensive 4.5-acre context. The layout emphasizes expansive glazing, which serves a functional purpose: it pulls the external greenery deep into the interior, making the living spaces feel larger and more connected to the site.
We believe that a well-designed home should respond to its environment. This involves planning for solar orientation, ensuring proper ventilation, and using materials that age gracefully. We work with raw brick, stone, and steel to define spaces that feel solid yet open. Our process begins with a deep analysis of the client brief, followed by a study of how local traditions can inform modern architectural lines. For larger estates, this means careful land grading and the placement of structures to frame specific views. For residential interiors, this involves the careful selection of natural stone and wood to create tactile surfaces. By keeping our design language consistent yet adaptable, we deliver spaces that are built to last and designed to be lived in. Whether we are planning a residence, a farmhouse, or a commercial space, we maintain a consistent focus on the flow between transition zones and primary living areas.
