An important aftercare step: dabbing the dry henna with a lemon and sugar mixture. This helps the design set and achieve a darker, longer-lasting stain.

About The Art of Mehndi (Process & Product)

I make every single henna cone myself using only 100% organic, PPD-free ingredients, which is the secret to getting that deep, rich color that lasts. You will also see me using a lemon and sugar sealant, a vital step I never skip, to help the henna set perfectly so you get the best possible stain for your wedding.

When you book me for your bridal mehndi, you are not just getting a service, you are getting 15 years of practice and a lot of heart.

The Organic Difference

I do not use store-bought, chemical-heavy cones. I mix my own henna paste using only natural ingredients, allowing it to soak overnight to ensure the dye releases properly. This is how I can guarantee a dark stain for every bride. It is safer for your skin and provides a richer, deep maroon color that looks beautiful in wedding photography.

My Process

My application style is all about patience and precision. Whether I am doing intricate Jaali work on your arms or adding specific motifs like elephants, Jhumkas, or your partner's name, I use ultra-fine tips for micro-detailing.

Once the design is complete, I apply a lemon and sugar sealant. This is crucial—it keeps the henna moist on your skin for longer, which helps the stain darken significantly. If you have a specific design in mind or want to recreate a photo you found online, just show me. I can adapt my style to match your vision, whether it is traditional Indian bridal or modern fusion.

I travel across Bangalore to your home or venue, so you can relax while I create your bridal look.

Hey, I am Adila. I have been doing mehandi in Bangalore for over 15 years and honestly, I still get a little ticklish joy, or gudgudahatma, every time the design comes alive. I believe your henna should be safe and natural, so I make all my cones at home, ensuring you get that perfect dark stain without any harsh chemicals.
