About Our Process & Happy Brides
I do not just apply mehendi; I prepare every cone myself using 100% organic henna and essential oils like eucalyptus and clove. This is not just about the design you see on your wedding day, it is about the deep, maroon-to-black stain that matures over 24-48 hours. When we book your slot, we factor in about 4-6 hours for application, so make sure you have your playlist or favorite show ready while I work.
My Approach to Bridal Mehendi
When you hire me, you are getting more than just a service, you are getting 12 years of dedication to the craft. My process is entirely focused on two things: the beauty of the design and the safety of the organic ingredients. I never use chemicals, and I make my henna paste fresh, so it is completely safe for everyone, including pregnant women.
The Journey from Paste to Stain
People often ask why my stain is so dark. The secret is patience and the quality of the henna. When I arrive at your location in Bangalore, the first step is always checking the consistency of the paste. After I finish the intricate detailing—whether it is a classic peacock motif or a detailed portrait—I apply a lemon-sugar sealant to keep the design intact.
- The Wait: You need to keep the mehendi on for at least 6-8 hours. Patience here is key.
- The Reveal: The color will start as a light orange and deepen into that rich maroon or black shade over 24 to 48 hours.
- The Care: I always advise brides to avoid water contact immediately after the ceremony to let the natural oils set.
Customization Matters
I love working with brides who want their love story on their hands. If you want to hide your groom's name, add a doli motif, or include your wedding date, just let me know during our initial chat. I can handle everything from traditional full-coverage 'Bhari' styles to modern, 3D floral designs. My team and I are also equipped to handle large groups, so your family and guests are taken care of while I focus on your bridal work.
