Safe Shipping for Handmade Crochet Orders
Making beautiful things is only the first half of my work. The second half is ensuring every piece reaches you exactly as I stitched it, safe and sound.
This video shows my packing process for a bulk order of crochet dolls. Each one is placed in a protective sleeve before being arranged in the shipping box.
Packing multiple boxes for a large wholesale shipment. You can see different types of dolls, like bees and bunnies, being sorted and boxed up for safe transit across India.
About Packed & Shipped with Care
Every amigurumi doll and crochet flower is placed in an individual protective sleeve to shield it from dust and moisture. For bulk orders, I use reinforced cartons and careful stacking techniques to ensure the shapes are not crushed during transit across India.
People often ask how I send delicate items from Manipur to the rest of India. Because these are handmade, they need specific care during transit. I do not just throw items into a box. I pack them to ensure durability and presentation. For retailers, this means the dolls arrive retail-ready in their sleeves. For event planners, it means your favors stay pristine until the big day. Since everything is made in my home workshop, packing is the final stage of my quality control. I ensure that the yarn is clean and the structure is firm before sealing the package. Please remember that handmade items require preparation time, so if you have a deadline for an event, it helps to reach out early. I ship across India, and I have learned how to package everything from heavy beaded bags to light floral stems to survive the long journey safely.
