Behind the scenes of our handmade crochet process
Curious how your forever flowers come to life? Take a peek into my Mumbai studio—where tangled yarn turns into gifts that actually last.
This was a special moment for me: packing the very first order from my new website. Every order, big or small, is a milestone, and I pack each one with so much gratitude and care.
If you want to know the way to my heart, it's with a handful of crochet flowers. This video shows off some of the different types I make, including hyacinths, sunflowers, and tulips.
A little "artist vs. the art" moment. Here’s me, and here is a sample of the art I create, like these handmade crochet tulips and lavenders.
Here’s a glimpse of me in my element, crocheting new creations. This order included a cute pink potato plushie and a heart-themed tulip, all packed up and ready to make someone smile.
For me, making these flowers is a love language. This video shows the process of crocheting purple tulips and lavender, turning simple yarn into a heartfelt, handmade gift.
This is your reminder to treat yourself. I believe in self-love, and sometimes that means buying yourself the flowers. Here I am making some pink carnations, perfect for a little pick-me-up.
This is your sign to get her flowers that last forever. A quick look at how I crochet a simple but beautiful pink rose, the perfect gift for National Girlfriend's Day or any day.
People ask if I spend hours crocheting just for someone to say "it's cute". The answer is yes, and it's always worth it to see the joy my handmade items bring.
About My Handmade Process
Every petal you see starts as a raw ball of 4-ply yarn or velvet chenille in my small studio. I spend hours wire-wrapping stems and shaping flowers by hand—sometimes it takes a bit of 'jugaad' to get that perfect curve, but that’s exactly what makes each piece yours.
I started this because I hate that fresh flowers die, but I stayed because I fell in love with the technical challenge of turning soft yarn into structured art. When you order from me, you aren't just getting a bouquet; you're getting hours of meticulous, hand-stitched effort.
The Craft Behind the Bouquet
Each project demands a different approach. For my standard crochet floral bouquets, I use high-quality 4-ply acrylic yarn that provides sharp stitch definition and a matte finish. I mount these on sturdy wooden dowels or thick floral wires, hand-wrapping them to mimic the weight of a natural stem. If you choose one of my XL Chunky Plush Bouquets, the process switches to bulky chenille or velvet polyester yarn. These are structurally different—they require internal polyfill stuffing and a different tension technique to ensure they stay huggable and self-standing.
Why 'Jugaad' Matters
Sometimes, the pattern doesn't perfectly capture a vision. That's where the fun starts. Whether it's improvising a stitch for a custom Spiderman rose or figuring out the perfect wire-bending technique for a lily, I don't follow rigid factory rules. I tailor the construction to ensure your flowers don't wilt, fray, or droop.
Ordering Custom Work
Because every petal is made-to-order, I need time to get it right. I work out of a small studio in Mumbai and manage everything from the initial design chat to the final packaging ribbon. If you have a specific vibe—coquette core, minimal desk decor, or a wild custom character idea—send it my way. Just know that good crochet takes time, so please reach out a bit before your event date.
