Behind the Stitches: How My Handmade Crochet Comes to Life
Every single loop is tied by my own hands. Here is a look at what goes into making your custom crochet pieces, from the first knot of yarn to the finished product.
People say crochet requires a lot of patience, and they are right. For me, it's my therapy. This is me, completely in my element, working on a new creation even while on the go.
Someone asked what my biggest advantage is as a crafter in today's world. It's simple: every piece is made by my own two hands, with a human touch that AI can't replicate.
This video sums up my life perfectly. Everyone has an addiction, and mine is crochet. From baby outfits to custom requests like these evil eye keychains, my hook and yarn are always busy.
When I'm quiet online, it's because I'm busy creating. This video shows a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes: finishing bulk orders and working on new designs like the butterfly outfit.
About My Handmade Process
Making everything myself means things take time—usually 15 to 30 days depending on the complexity of the piece. I do not use mass-production methods or patterns pulled from a database; I sit with my yarn, work through the knots, and figure out the structure until it looks just right. When you order from me, you are getting something that lived in my hands for hours, not something pulled off a factory shelf.
Why Handmade Takes Time
People often ask why I need up to a month for custom orders. The truth is, I run this entire shop solo. Whether it is a tiny evil eye keychain or a full baby photoshoot outfit, every loop is made by me. I start by selecting premium, skin-friendly baby yarns that feel soft and durable. From there, I work through the pattern, adjusting for sizing, color, and texture as I go.
My Process: From Yarn to Keepsake
- The Planning: We discuss your vision, colors, and the occasion. Whether it is a mermaid tail for a photoshoot or a bulk order for event gifting in Mysuru, we nail down the details first.
- The Execution: This is the therapy part. I spend hours, often while traveling or winding down at home, working through the stitches. It is a slow, rhythmic process that cannot be rushed without sacrificing quality.
- Quality Control: Since I am the only one making these items, I am also the only one checking them. If a stitch is loose or a button does not fit perfectly, I redo it. No robots, no assembly lines.
Customization & Delivery
I love when you come with weird, wonderful, or very specific requests. Want a specific shade of yellow for a sunflower outfit? Or need a custom baby size? Just tell me. Since I am shipping from Mysuru across India, please plan your order at least a month ahead of your event date. This ensures I have the breathing room to make your piece with the care it deserves.
