About Behind The Lens & Gear
I don't carry the whole studio with me. My rule is simple: if it doesn't fit in my backpack, it doesn't come on the trek. I mostly shoot on the Sony A7IV because it handles everything from low-light city walks to high-altitude landscapes. For those epic top-down views, the DJI Mini 3 Pro is my go-to since it is compact but packs enough power to get 4K footage. It is all about having a setup that lets me focus on the vibe, not the gear weight.
When people ask me what is in my bag, they usually expect a list of heavy gear. I prefer agility. Whether I am shooting sports action for Kashi Rudras or capturing the Himalayan peaks, I need a setup that is ready in seconds.
The Sony A7IV is the backbone of my work. It is a hybrid powerhouse, great for both crisp stills and the kind of high-quality video that social media algorithms love. When I pair it with the 70-200mm lens, I get that perfect compression for mountain landscapes or athlete portraits where I need to isolate the subject from the background.
Aerial work is non-negotiable for me now. The DJI Mini 3 Pro is not just about the 4K resolution; it is about the safety and ease of use. It lets me get those cinematic orbit shots and smooth fly-throughs without needing a separate production crew. I also believe in the 'camera you have is the best camera' philosophy. You will often see me using the Samsung S23 or Z Flip 5 for quick reels or late-night street photography. The low-light performance on these is honestly surprising.
If you are hiring me for a shoot, expect a workflow that is fast and mobile. I focus on quick turnarounds because I know you need that content for your socials immediately. My post-production is all about natural color grading, keeping the vibe real rather than over-processed. Let’s talk about your project needs—I am ready to pack the bags.
