Every artist's journey begins with the first stroke. Here, my students are taking their very first step, learning how to hold a brush and practicing basic strokes on paper. This foundational exercise is crucial for developing control and confidence.

This is not just an art class; it's an Aarti'st class! Students are practicing color theory by creating swatches and gradients. Understanding colors is fundamental to skin tone correction, concealing, and creating beautiful eyeshadow looks.

Here, students are practicing the intricate art of Kolka bindi design on paper. This traditional Bengali bridal element requires precision and a steady hand, and practicing on face charts helps perfect the technique before applying it on a client.

This video shows a student learning how to draw a realistic 3D eye on their hand. This exercise is one of my favorites because it teaches complex concepts of light, shadow, and dimension in a very practical and creative way.

The magic of 3D eye art unfolds in this short clip. You can see how layering colors and using precise lines can create a stunningly realistic eye on a flat surface. This is a testament to what you can learn with guided practice.

About Hands-On Skill Development

You will not find theoretical lectures here. My students begin by training on paper and their own hands, perfecting brush strokes and color theory before they ever touch a model. Whether you are mastering traditional Kolka bindi patterns or complex 3D eye looks, we focus on developing your muscle memory and confidence through consistent, daily practice sessions.
