Creating a regal look for my beautiful NRI bride, Nuha. This Muslim bridal look features a flawless airbrush base with defined eyes and a soft lip, complementing her magnificent embroidered sharara. The entire look was designed to be lightweight and last through the entire nikah ceremony.

My Approach

I’ve been doing bridal makeup since 2006, and my main thing is making you look like yourself, just a bit more glowy and confident. I’m not here to change your face or hide your features. If you say, “Mi mi diste yamadhye” (I look like myself in this), that’s the best compliment for me. I especially love working with dusky skin bridal makeup - I never try to lighten or ‘fix’ your skin, just bring out its natural richness.

Every function deserves its own vibe. I create a fresh style for each chapter - Engagement, Haldi, Sangeet, Wedding, Reception. No copy-paste looks. I listen to what you want, and make sure each look is unique, whether you want something simple or bold.

I use airbrush wedding makeup for that glass finish - it’s light, flawless, and stays put through all the emotions. Good skin prep is a must, so I focus on that before starting. What you see in my photos is real - no filters, no heavy editing.

Hi, I’m Aarti Gaikwad. Makeup’s been my world since 2006, but it’s that glow on a bride’s face that keeps me going. For me, beauty’s all about ‘manatla tej, swabhavatli komalta’—that inner shine, that soft nature. My brushes just bring it out. Opening my own studio in Panvel wasn’t easy, but every struggle, every late night, made me who I am. Now, it’s a new start, and I’m loving every bit.
