I focus heavily on teaching the logic behind these designs rather than just having students copy patterns. Arabic and floral styles are actually the best place to start if you are learning. What I Teach
In my offline classes at my New Guruppan Palya studio, we start with the 'Bel' (trail) that moves from the finger to the wrist.
