About Our Process: From Your Story to a New Design
Before you even book an appointment, get a 'touch report' done at any local jeweller nearby. It takes five minutes and tells us exactly what your gold purity is. This simple, transparent step gives us a clear starting point, ensures we know exactly what we are working with, and makes our first design consultation much smoother for you.
Our process is built on trust and collaboration. We have spent nine years refining a method that keeps your gold intact while completely changing the look.
1. The Initial Consultation
Whether you visit my studio in Opera House or we hop on a video call, this is where it starts. I want to hear the story behind the pieces you brought. Are they from your Nani? Was it a gift from your mom? Understanding the history helps me design something that respects the past while fitting your current style.
2. Live Sketching
This is my favourite part. We sit together with your jewelry on the table, and I sketch ideas in real-time. We explore options—like turning a heavy chain into a modern Guttapusalu, or splitting one rigid bangle into two lighter bracelets. We tweak the design until it feels perfect to you.
3. The Crafting
Once the design is locked, my artisans get to work. We only add gold to your existing gold. We never melt your pieces, so you never lose the weight or the history. We add high-quality pearls, uncut diamonds, or coloured stones to elevate the design. You get a piece that looks brand new but holds all the original blessings.
