About Creative Sitting Choreography
These routines focus on upper body flow and Abhinaya (expressions), making them ideal for filming short reels or performing in smaller spaces. You will learn how to convey the emotion of a song using just your hands and posture, without needing a full stage or complex footwork.
Why Sitting Choreography?
I created these sessions for everyone who loves music but wants to keep it chill. You don't need years of training or a massive studio to dance. My sitting choreography is all about 'Abhinaya'—using your face and hands to tell a story through the lyrics. It’s perfect if you are tight on space, planning a unique wedding performance, or just want to try a trend that looks elegant on camera.
What to Expect
Whether we are on a Zoom call or in my Mumbai studio, we keep it simple. No endless, boring drills or technical jargon. We focus on:
- Upper Body Focus: Fluid hand gestures and posture that look great even if you have limited mobility.
- Expressive Storytelling: Learning how to connect with the lyrics of Bollywood and semi-classical tracks.
- Easy Learning: I break down steps using the song lyrics instead of counting beats, so you leave with a routine you can actually remember.
We provide a reference video after every session, so you can practice at your own pace. If you are joining my in-studio workshops in Andheri or Malad, we also dedicate time to filming your performance for your social media. It is just you, the music, and a lot of fun.
