A curated look at my commissioned portraits and artistic illustrations. From detailed graphite sketches to vibrant color pencil art, I explore the balance between a photograph's reality and the emotions it holds.

This was such a special commission. I created this graphite pencil portrait for a wonderful couple, and it was an honor to see it presented as a surprise gift during their engagement ceremony. Turning a cherished photo into a lasting memory for moments like this is the most rewarding part of my work as an artist.

This video shows the journey of a poster color painting, from a blank page to a cherished gift. I love working with bold colors to create modern couple portraits that celebrate a shared bond. Seeing the final framed artwork being presented makes the entire process worthwhile.

Using colored pencils allows me to build up rich, realistic layers of color. This commissioned family portrait was a joy to create, focusing on capturing the unique personalities of each person. It's a wonderful way to bring a family photo to life with vibrant detail.

This graphite pencil portrait of Shree Bharathi Tirtha Mahaswamiji of Sringeri was a deeply meaningful project for me. I focused on capturing a sense of peace and reverence, using careful shading to create depth. It is an honor to draw figures who inspire such devotion.

For this memorial illustration, I combined two separate reference photos to create a single portrait of a couple. It is a sensitive process to create a piece that honors the memory of loved ones, and I handle each one with the utmost care and respect.

My process begins with precision. Here you can see how I use the grid technique, laying a grid over my paper to match the reference photo on my phone. This method ensures that the proportions and likeness of the final hand-drawn portrait are accurate from the very first line.

This digital illustration is an example of a large group portrait, created to celebrate the bond between a class of students. I carefully drew each individual from their photo and composed them into a single, harmonious artwork to serve as a lasting memento.

My process always begins with the grid technique to ensure exact anatomical likeness before I even touch the shading. This ensures that when you commission a portrait, the final drawing is not just a sketch, but a precise, recognizable mirror of your reference photo.
