I recommend booking your design at least two weeks before your event. Because I create custom figures—like parent-to-be portraits or baby-themed motifs—I need time to sketch your idea before we start the actual application. Also, my baby shower package uses strictly chemical-free, organic henna to ensure complete safety for you and your baby during the session.
How Custom Baby Shower Mehndi Works
Unlike standard bridal or party henna, baby shower designs are storytelling pieces. Whether you want a silhouette of the parents, a 'Coming Soon' message, or specific symbols like baby bottles and strollers, the goal is to make the design unique to your celebration.
My Process
- Consultation: You share the theme or specific figures you want. If you have a reference image or a rough sketch, we can incorporate that directly into the design.
- Sketching: I plan the placement of the figures to ensure they look balanced on your palms and forearms.
- Application: I use natural, chemical-free henna, which is critical for pregnancy safety. The application for these detailed pieces typically takes between 120 to 150 minutes depending on the complexity of the figures.
What's Included
My packages are priced between ₹2200 and ₹3200 per pair, covering mid-forearm length designs. This includes:
- Up to 2 primary caricatures (Parents, Baby, or Krishna).
- Thematic motifs like strollers, milk bottles, or footprints.
- Custom scripting for names, dates, or phrases like 'Aai & Baba'.
- Intricate Indian filler patterns surrounding your chosen figures.
I travel across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area for these bookings. If you are planning a larger event or a gender reveal party, please let me know in advance so I can manage the timeline for your guests.
