- Guest Mehndi: Speed techniques for palm and back-of-hand designs (Siders).

- Duration: 40 days, 2 hours daily.

Why I Teach Mehndi
Mehndi is more than just patterns for me - it’s a way to express and connect. I started teaching because I wanted others to feel the same joy, whether you’re just curious or dreaming of becoming a pro.
What You’ll Learn
- We start with the basics: how to make and hold a mehndi cone, getting your lines and grids right, and trying out different styles like Arabic and Indian.
- Once you’re comfortable, we move to advanced bridal mehndi techniques. This includes heavy Indian and Indo-Western bridal designs, cutwork, and those detailed motifs like peacocks and lotuses.
- Figure work is a big part of my course. I’ll show you how to draw bride-groom faces, varmala scenes, elephants, and even fun stuff for baby showers like ‘Aai’ and ‘Baba’ figures.
How Classes Happen
- You can join online or come to my place in Bhandup West, Mumbai.
- Classes are 2 hours, daily, with flexible batches.
- The full course takes about 40-60 days, depending on your speed.
My Teaching Style
I believe in practice over theory. I do live demos, then you get hands-on time and can ask anything. My goal is for you to actually understand the art, not just copy designs. At the end, you get a certificate - but more importantly, you’ll have the confidence to create your own mehndi style.

Hi, Jyoti here. Mehndi is my world. Mumbai ki galiyon mein (in Mumbai streets), you’ll find me with a cone in hand, lost in the details. I love turning stories into patterns - for brides, festivals, anyone really. Teaching mehndi in Bhandup is my happy place. Seeing students try their first design, that’s magic. So, whether you want beautiful hands or want to learn this art, I'm always up for it.
