Known for bold, sweeping lines and elegant open spaces, my Arabic and Indo-Arabic designs are ideal for those who prefer a modern, striking look. These patterns flow naturally across the hands, making them a perfect choice for engagements, parties, or bridesmaids.

About Flowing Arabic & Indo-Arabic Styles

The main challenge with Arabic designs is ensuring they look striking without appearing too empty, so I use a layout that balances thick, bold strokes with intricate, delicate shading. I mix my own organic henna cones with specific essential oils to ensure that even these finer, spaced-out patterns yield a deep, dark stain that lasts.

Why Choose Arabic & Indo-Arabic Styles

Arabic mehndi is defined by its negative space, meaning it is about what you leave empty as much as what you fill. While traditional Indian mehndi covers every inch of the skin, my Arabic and Indo-Arabic patterns focus on clean, flowing vines that accentuate the natural shape of the hand.

My approach to this style combines the bold, dark outlines characteristic of Gulf henna with the detailed, filler-heavy motifs seen in traditional Indian art. This blend is what I call Indo-Arabic, and it is a popular choice for:

  • Weddings and Engagements: It provides a sophisticated, modern look that doesn't overpower your jewellery.
  • Festive Occasions: It is faster to apply, making it ideal for group settings or events where you want a beautiful design without sitting for six hours.
  • Minimalist Brides: If you want a clean look but still need the traditional feel of intricate patterns on the fingers and wrists.

My Quality Promise

Design is only half the process. A beautiful pattern is meaningless if the henna does not stain well. I exclusively use 100% organic, home-mixed henna cones. Because I prepare my own paste using triple-sifted powder and essential oils, I have full control over the quality.

These Arabic designs rely on precision—fine lines can easily blur if the paste quality is inconsistent. I use 0.3mm fine-tip cones for all my Arabic work to ensure the lines remain sharp and clean. Whether you are in Bhandup or visiting me from elsewhere in the Mumbai Metropolitan Area, my goal is to give you a design that is visually striking on day one and rich in colour by day three.
