Small Group Flute Training
Batch Structure
- Frequency: 4 sessions per month (once weekly).
- Duration: 60 minutes per class.
- Class Size: Limited to 4-6 students to ensure individual attention within a peer learning environment.
Curriculum & Support
- Focus Areas: Introduction to Hindustani Classical or Light Music, Embouchure (blowing technique), and finger placement.
- Materials: Includes handwritten or printed notation sheets (Sargam/Alankars).
- Facility: Air-conditioned classroom in Mulund West with music stands provided.
- Performance: Opportunities to participate in academy events and festivals.
- Note: Students must purchase their own Bansuri (Flute).
Private 1-on-1 Flute Coaching
Personalised Attention
- Format: 100% undivided attention with a 1 teacher to 1 student ratio.
- Duration: Intensive 45 to 60-minute practical sessions.
- Scheduling: Flexible time slots based on mutual availability.
Advanced Features
- Certification: Preparation for music grade exams (Gandharva Mahavidyalaya or Trinity).
- Customization: Freedom to choose specific songs (Bollywood/Devotional) and tailored pacing.
- Technique: Micro-correction of breathing and posture.
- Accompaniment: Jamming support with the teacher on other instruments (Harmonium/Tabla) to master rhythm.
Live 1-on-1 Online Lessons
Virtual Classroom
- Platform: Live interactive video classes via Zoom, WhatsApp Video, or FaceTime.
- Format: Private 1-on-1 instruction format tailored for remote learning.
- Setup: Guidance on camera positioning to allow the teacher to monitor finger placement remotely.
Digital Resources
- Materials: PDF notation sheets and audio recordings sent digitally for practice.
- Flexibility: Tailored lesson plans similar to private physical classes.
- Requirements: Student must have a stable internet connection and their own instrument.

We’re a mother-daughter duo, and music is pretty much our life. Flute lessons are new for us at Harmony Music Academy, but we’re bringing all our energy and warmth to make it special. If you’re looking to start from scratch or just want to try something different, you’ll fit right in.
Who Can Join?
- Age doesn’t matter - chaahe aap 4 ho ya 40 (whether you’re 4 or 40), you’re welcome.
- No need for any music background. Beginner flute classes for kids and adults are both part of our plan.
- If you’re nervous, don’t worry. We go slow and steady, and celebrate every small win.
How We Teach
Music isn’t just about notes. It’s about finding your own dhun (tune), enjoying the process, and feeling proud when you finally get it right. We focus on consistent practice, not instant results. You become part of our HMA family, not just another student.

My Story
Namaste! We’re Harmony Music Academy, mother-daughter duo, running since 2007. HMA’s not just a school, it’s our big musical family. We celebrate everything with music - Navratri, birthdays, Deepavali, all with a song and a smile. Watching kids and grown-ups find their rhythm, even taping up hands for Ganpati dhol, makes us proud. Age? Doesn’t matter. We just love seeing everyone discover their own melody, together.
