The entrance is the prologue to your celebration. We craft transitions that turn an arrival into an experience, setting the mood before your guests even step inside.

I designed this majestic entrance using a series of golden jaali arches, creating a royal passageway for guests. The intricate patterns and hanging floral tassels guide the eye, building a sense of grandeur and traditional opulence.

This warm and inviting entrance tunnel was created with rich yellow fabric and soft draping, illuminated by strings of Edison bulbs. The design offers a rustic yet elegant welcome, perfect for a grand wedding celebration at NESCO.

For a modern and chic Sangeet night, I designed this entrance with a bold black and white chevron walkway. The path is lined with glamorous disco balls and dramatic floral arrangements, setting a high energy tone for the party.

An entrance that breathes elegance. Here, I used cascading arches of white roses, baby's breath, and fresh greenery to frame the doorway, creating a soft, romantic, and timeless welcome for a garden-themed wedding ceremony.

This reception entrance is a symphony in red. I used rich red drapes and dense rose arrangements to create a luxurious and passionate welcome, setting a regal tone for the evening's festivities.

A personalized welcome is a beautiful touch. This custom acrylic sign for Sharen and Alistair features their monogram and is framed by a lush, asymmetrical arrangement of red and white roses, lit softly by candles for a romantic glow.

To make the welcome truly personal, I incorporated the couple's pre-wedding photo into the signage. The custom sign is framed by an elegant arch of white and green florals, connecting their love story to the celebration.

This welcome setup combines traditional florals with modern design. A simple, elegant sign is flanked by arrangements of red and white roses, while golden birdcage-like structures add a touch of contemporary artistry.

A rustic wooden welcome sign provides a warm, organic feel, beautifully contrasted with elegant script. I framed it with arrangements of peach and white roses, creating a soft and inviting entryway for guests.

For this elegant affair, the welcome sign was designed with a clean, modern aesthetic, featuring the couple's monogram. The arrangement of white florals with hints of pink and gold-dusted leaves adds a touch of sophisticated glamour.

About Grand Entrances & Welcomes

We believe an entrance should do more than look pretty, it should ground your guests in the story of the day. Whether it is integrating your monogram into a custom acrylic sign or lighting a pathway with Edison bulbs to match a rustic venue, we handle the logistics of that first look so you do not have to worry about the chaos of arrival.

Designing an entrance is about managing the transition from the outside world to your celebration. When I work with venues like NESCO or local hotels in Mumbai, the first challenge is often scale. A massive, empty foyer can feel sterile, so I use structured archways, drapery, and lighting to create intimate points of focus.

For smaller, more personal touches, I focus on the signage and the immediate surrounding. We create acrylic or wooden boards that hold your story, perhaps with a custom monogram or a photo from your pre-wedding shoot. We then frame these with floral arrangements that match your primary color palette, whether that is the classic marigold yellow or a modern blush pink.

Lighting is the final layer. Whether it is strings of Edison bulbs for a rustic warmth or focused spots on a floral arch, the light directs the eye and creates a mood before a guest hears the music inside. If you are planning a traditional ceremony, we often incorporate brass elements or specific floral patterns to signal the auspicious nature of the event, genda ke toran dware sajao (decorate the door with marigold garlands) as we say.

Every entrance setup we build is grounded in the logistics of your specific venue. We manage the wiring, the stability of the structures, and the flow of guest traffic, ensuring that the visual impact is never compromised by the practicalities of the space.

I am the one behind these doors. For me, decor is not just about draping fabric or hanging lights, it is about making sure that when your guests arrive, they feel like they have stepped into a space that is entirely, undeniably yours.
