About Additional Work & Special Moments
When we installed the first roller skating ramp in South Mumbai at St. Mary's, it was a turning point for our students. It allowed us to move beyond basic track drills and help skaters build real confidence through jumps and technical challenges. Seeing a student shift from hesitation to landing their first jump on that ramp is exactly why we do this.
Our academy in Mumbai isn't just a place to practice; it is a space for experiences that push our skaters out of their comfort zones. Whether it is our students getting on set with action stars like Vidyut Jammwal for a film collaboration or skating with the tricolor past the Gateway of India on Independence Day, we believe these moments matter.
Why These Moments Matter
- Confidence through Play: We use creative events like fancy dress on skates and ramp sessions to make technical practice feel like play. It takes the pressure off and lets kids learn balance without the fear of falling.
- Real-World Exposure: We don't just train inside the rink. By taking our skaters out for road rallies at Marine Drive or collaborative shoots, they learn how to handle different surfaces and environments.
- Community Spirit: Our focus is on the 'skating family' dynamic. When senior students mentor juniors during our annual championships or themed contests, they learn leadership. That is how we have built a legacy since 1989.
