About Meet Our Tribe
Behind every workshop and community event, there is a simple truth: we are just regular people, not experts. We are moms, students, and professionals who decided that small, consistent actions like composting at home or participating in our weekend cleanups matter more than perfect, zero-waste living. When you join our tribe, you are not just signing up for a class; you are becoming part of a community that is actively trying to fix Gurgaon, one dustbin at a time.
Our story started from a simple place: worry. Our founder, Juhi, started this movement when she became a mom and realized that clean water and air are the real wealth we leave for our kids. Since then, we have grown into a diverse group of facilitators—architects, millet educators, desi chefs, and zero-waste evangelists—all driven by the desire to bring back the simple, sustainable habits of the dadi-nani era.
Why We Do It
Climate change is not a distant threat. Bin mausam baarish (random rain) and landfills catching fire in Gurgaon are real issues. We believe in the mantra, 'Mera kachra, meri zimmedari' (My waste, my responsibility). Our team works to make sustainability accessible rather than intimidating.
How We Work
We are a volunteer-led community. We mess up sometimes, and that is okay. Our strength is not in being flawless, but in showing up. Every third Sunday, we host meetups and cleanup drives where we swap stories, learn to make mud walls, and discuss how to segregate waste without turning our homes into science labs.
Join The Movement
Whether you join our 'Planet Protectors' program, attend a composting workshop, or just drop by our next cleanup, you are helping us build a cleaner, greener city. We are always growing, always learning, and always looking for more hands to join our mission. Come meet the facilitators, share your ideas, and let's work on the solution together.
Zero Waste
We are just a group of regular folks in Gurgaon who decided to stop complaining about landfills and start changing our own dustbins. From our founder Juhi to our diverse group of volunteers, our strength lies in our community spirit rather than fancy credentials.
