Large-scale tattoos are a journey. Whether you want a full sleeve or a complex back piece, I focus on precision, anatomy, and custom storytelling to create art that fits your body perfectly.

A full Maori-inspired sleeve in progress. These designs are full of powerful symbolism and require precision to ensure the patterns flow correctly around the arm.

This neo-tribal sleeve combines red and black ink with star elements for a modern and energetic look. It's a unique style that really stands out.

A full spine tattoo of an ornamental sword. This is a bold and elegant placement that requires a lot of precision, creating a stunning piece that accentuates the back.

An abstract tattoo of lightning branches spreading across the shoulder and back. This is a great example of a custom, free-flowing design that is unique to the client.

About Large-Scale Art: Sleeves & Statement Pieces

A large-scale tattoo is a long-term commitment. My process starts with mapping the design to your specific anatomy, ensuring the flow works with your muscle structure rather than fighting against it. We break these major projects into 3-5 hour sessions to keep the quality consistent and the healing process manageable for your skin.

Building a full sleeve or a statement piece requires more than just picking a cool design from the internet. It is a collaboration where we blend your vision with my technique. I do not believe in copy-pasting; every design is drafted to fit your arm, leg, or back so it looks intentional and balanced.

When you come in for a project like this, we first focus on the flow. I often use freehand markers or custom stencils to map the art onto your body. We move your arms and check the placement so that when you flex or relax, the tattoo looks like a natural part of you, not a flat sticker.

For heavy blackwork like Maori patterns or Neo-tribal sleeves, I use high-viscosity inks that pack deep for a solid, long-lasting finish. I know these long sessions can be intense, so I prioritize your comfort and safety. We use dental-grade hygiene standards, and for these large areas, I apply professional-grade protective film like Dermalize so the area stays clean and hydrated while it starts healing. We usually space these sessions out by two to three weeks to give your skin enough time to recover, ensuring the final result is as crisp and clean as the day we finished it.

I treat every sleeve like a piece of architecture—it has to fit your frame perfectly. I don’t just trace designs; I map them onto your body so they move with you. If you’re ready for a serious, meaningful piece, I’m here to build it with you.
