About Our Craft & Process
Before we ever touch a needle, we start with a physical conversation. We send hand-picked fabric samples to your doorstep, or invite you to our Parel design centre, so you can feel the textures and see the colors in your own natural light before committing to a single stitch.
At Zeba, our process is anchored in the belief that design should be a two-way dialogue. Whether you are a homeowner in Mumbai or a hotelier looking to revamp a lobby, our work begins long before the final installation. We operate out of our Parel design centre, a space where ideas are sketched, fabrics are tested, and our signature aesthetic comes to life. Our workflow is intentionally paced. We do not believe in rush orders, we believe in the right stitch. When you approach us for a project, we begin by understanding your space's personality. We then arrange a selection of textiles, ranging from block-printed cottons to heavy, hand-embroidered velvets, that respond specifically to your lighting, furniture, and usage patterns. This cluster offers a window into our studio life. You will see glimpses of our masterclasses with design students, our collaborative meets with fellow architects, and the raw, quiet moments of quality control where we cut and prepare samples. This level of transparency is intentional. We want you to understand the human hands involved in every piece we create. When you work with us, you are not just purchasing curtains or upholstery, you are engaging in a partnership that values craft, patience, and the unique story only your space can tell.
