About Community Events & Contests
Organizing these contests is my way of giving back to the community that made me. Watching artists from across Bengaluru come together to share their passion, exchange tips, and push their boundaries is the real win here. It is not just about the trophy, it is about finding your tribe and mastering your craft in a real-world setting.
When I started my journey 15 years ago, I did not have many platforms to showcase my work or meet fellow artists. I had to build my own path. That is why I started these events in BTM Layout. I wanted to create a space where aspiring henna artists could drop the pressure of commercial work for a day and just focus on their art.
We set up these meet-ups to encourage both beginners and pros. Whether you are a student from my professional courses or a self-taught artist just starting, this is a place to get feedback and practice. You get to see different hands, work with diverse design styles, and actually understand how to handle different skin types and lighting.
It is not just about competing. We share business tips too, like how to price your work or manage client expectations.
