We look for hunger and discipline over just raw talent, and spots are open for those ready to commit to the season.
Building a Winning Mentality
At Youth Football Academy, the squad list is a mark of commitment. When you see our rosters for leagues like the Borivali Football Championship League (BFCL) or the Mumbai Football Association (MFA) Super Division, you are looking at players who show up, train hard, and play with a shared dream.
The Development Pathway
We structure our teams to ensure progression. A player starting in our U-7 squad is learning the same tactical foundations as our senior players, just adapted for their age.
- U-7 to U-15: Focuses on ball mastery, agility, and understanding the 'why' behind every move.
- Senior Squads: Moves into high-pressure competitive play, team strategy, and league-specific tactics.
Selection and Trials
If you see a name on these lists, it means they earned their place. We hold regular football trials across Mumbai—especially in Borivali and Kandivali—for new players wanting to join our competitive batches.
What we look for during selection:
- Attitude: You might have the best footwork, but if you don't listen to the coach, you won't make the cut.
- Fitness: Football is 90 minutes of intensity. We need players who can last.
- Team Spirit: Teamwork tab strong hoti hai jab passing strong hoti hai (Teamwork gets strong when passing is strong). We don't play for glory; we play for the academy.
