I don't just teach photography; I teach you to read the jungle. Explore some of my favourite frames from the wild and discover the craft behind them.

This is the moment we live for. A majestic tiger walking head-on through a stream, its eyes locked with the lens. To get this shot, I used a wide aperture to create a natural frame with the foreground leaves, making the tiger the undeniable hero of the story. On my workshops, I teach you how to anticipate such moments and use composition to create unforgettable, powerful images.

Capturing the Great Migration is about freezing chaos into a story of survival. Here, a lion charges into a herd of wildebeest, and every element tells a tale of instinct and power. My Sony Alpha 1, shooting at 30 fps, allowed me to stop time, capturing the flying hooves and dust, turning a split-second event into a timeless narrative.

I was breathless when I witnessed this. A hyena mother carrying her newborn cub, just hours old, is a sight so rare it's almost undocumented. Luck plays a part, but being ready with the right gear and knowledge is what turns luck into a once-in-a-lifetime photograph. This is the kind of intimate storytelling I will help you achieve.

The soul of wildlife photography is storytelling. This frame of a tigress and her cub walking towards me, nuzzling each other with eyes locked on the camera, is pure emotion. Using a wide f/2.8 aperture on my 400mm lens, I melted the background away to ensure their bond was the only story being told.

Photography is an art, and silhouettes are one of its most beautiful expressions. By placing this giraffe perfectly against the setting sun, we create a powerful, emotional image. I teach my students how to master light and exposure to paint these dramatic scenes, turning a simple sunset into a masterpiece.

A magical moment in Dhikala as an elephant herd moves in perfect ascending order. This image is a lesson in composition, using the jungle path as a leading line to guide the eye. It’s not just a photo of elephants; it’s a story of family, order, and the rhythm of the wild, captured by understanding how to use the environment to frame your subject.

This is what my workshop looks like. It’s a mix of classroom theory where we break down the fundamentals, and intense on-field mentorship where I guide you right in the heart of the action. My goal is to get the camera to feel like an extension of your hand, so you can focus on telling the story in front of you.

The real magic happens when my students see the results for themselves. Here is a testimonial from a participant on my one-on-one trip to Panna, sharing how the personalized guidance was a game-changer for his photography. My greatest joy is seeing you grow from a spectator into a storyteller.

About Featured

The difference between a lucky shot and a deliberate frame is understanding your camera settings before the action starts. In my workshops, we stop relying on 'auto' mode and start using muscle memory to control your shutter speed and aperture. When a tiger walks out of the bush, you shouldn't be fumbling with your settings—you should be framing the moment.

Beyond Just Clicking

Wildlife photography is often misunderstood as just 'getting the shot.' It is actually about anticipation, patience, and knowing how to handle changing light conditions. Whether we are tracking a tigress in Ranthambore or waiting for a hyena in the Masai Mara, the process remains the same: I help you move from being a spectator to a storyteller.

Mastering Your Gear

It is not about having the most expensive camera. It is about understanding the one in your hands. During my workshops, we dive deep into:

  • Technical Mastery: We cover the exposure triangle, back-button focus, and handling high-speed action in low-light environments.
  • Fieldcraft: Learning to read animal behaviour so you can anticipate the action, not just react to it.
  • Composition: Using natural leading lines, negative space, and eye-level perspectives to make your subject the hero of the story.

The Learning Journey

We run intensive workshops across India's top parks like Jim Corbett, Panna, and Ranthambore, as well as premium expeditions to Kenya. These are not sightseeing tours. We spend our evenings in post-processing sessions, reviewing your footage, and critiquing composition. By the end of the trip, my goal is for you to look at a scene and instantly know how to frame it, adjust your settings, and capture the emotion of the wild.

If you are ready to stop guessing and start creating, let's get into the field and work on your craft together.
