Before we apply any chemicals, we test your hair's elasticity and porosity to choose the right rod size, from 5mm for tight curls to 15mm for soft waves. Consultation and Health Check
Everything starts with a conversation. We check your hair’s strength and porosity. If your hair has been heavily processed or is fragile, we will be honest about whether it can handle the service. We use professional products from brands like Schwarzkopf and L'Oreal to ensure your hair stays strong.
The Prep
We start with a deep-cleansing wash to remove silicones and product buildup. Clean hair cuticles allow for even penetration of the waving solution, which is the difference between a patchy perm and a uniform look.
Winding and Mechanics
This is where the shape is born. Whether you want the Korean wave look or a more dramatic, bouncy curl, the rod size and wrapping pattern are everything. We section your hair precisely and apply tension carefully to ensure the curls form exactly how we planned.
The Chemistry
We apply our Ammonium Thioglycolate-based lotion to break the hair bonds, then carefully monitor the development time. We don't guess; we test curls throughout the process to make sure we don't over-process. Once the shape is set, a neutralizer locks it all in.
The Finish
After rinsing, we use a diffuser to dry your hair. This locks in the curl pattern without creating the frizz that happens with standard blow-drying. We finish with a curl-defining cream or mousse, leaving you with that effortless, lived-in look.
