Drumming Powerhouse: Student Covers & Drills
At Yellow Lights, we teach you to find your own groove on the kit. From essential rudiments to rock and metal covers, we build real drummers, not just students.
The ability to express yourself through an instrument is priceless. Here's our student Aajitesh completely in his element, channeling his natural sense of rhythm onto the drum kit.
We believe exploring rock and its sub-genres is a powerful tool for drummers. It pushes students beyond basic rhythms and helps them develop a deeper understanding of their craft.
Our student Hrian Sharda rocks out to the legendary band ACDC. Learning the classics is a huge part of building a solid foundation in rock drumming.
Unleash your inner punk spirit. We encourage students to explore different genres to find their unique voice and energy on the drums.
Double the drummers, double the beats. Here, our students showcase their skills on both acoustic and electronic drum kits, demonstrating the versatility we teach.

About Drumming Powerhouse: Student Covers & Drills
We don't just hand you a syllabus and wish you luck. Every drummer learns differently, so we look at the music you actually love to play. Whether it is rock, metal, or Bollywood, we blend those songs with the technical stuff you need to nail your Trinity exams. It is about building the discipline to hold a beat without losing the raw fun of playing.
Learning drums is as much about the physical mechanics as it is about the mental shift from practicing to playing. At our Kavesar studio, we set up each session to replicate a real musical environment. You will spend time on our acoustic and electronic kits, learning everything from stick control and rudiments to complex ghost notes and pedal techniques.
We take Trinity College Rock and Pop exam preparation seriously, but we do it in a way that keeps the energy high. We believe that if you are not having fun, you will not stick with it. That is why we integrate your favorite tracks into the learning process. You master your scales and dexterity drills because they help you play the songs you want, not because a book told you to.
What to expect in class
- Technique focus: Hand-foot coordination, endurance, and timing.
- Gear familiarity: Learning how to tune, set up, and handle hardware.
- Exam readiness: Mock sessions that simulate the pressure and setup of a real exam, so the actual day feels like just another jam.
When you reach a certain level, you jump from the practice pad to our Yellow Lights Band. That is where the real growth happens. You learn to listen to other musicians, react to changes in tempo, and develop the stage presence that separates a bedroom drummer from a performer.
Yellow Lights
I am Aditya, and I built Yellow Lights for people who want to actually play music, not just study it. We are a family of drummers, guitarists, and vocalists who love the rush of a live performance. Come by the studio, grab a pair of sticks, and let's get you playing.
