About this collection
Traditional mehendi relies entirely on precision. Whether you want a symmetrical mandala or sharp, repeating geometric jaal patterns, the key is the consistency of the henna paste. I mix my own organic henna to ensure it has the perfect flow for fine detailing, which helps create that signature deep stain without any chemical additives.
When you choose traditional designs, you are looking for timeless elegance. My style focuses on the balance between negative space and dense filling, which is essential for mandalas and checkerboard patterns to look clean rather than cluttered.
Why Traditional Matters
Classic Indian mehendi is about storytelling through motifs. A well-executed jaal (net) pattern or a central lotus mandala is hard to master because any uneven line shows. I treat each hand as a fresh canvas, carefully adjusting the design density to fit your palm and arm size.
The Organic Difference
I do not use store-bought cones. I prepare my own henna paste using natural ingredients. This is not just safer for your skin, but it is the secret behind the dark, rich colour you see in my work. It requires patience during application—I need about 2.5 to 3 hours for bridal coverage—but the payoff is a stain that stays dark for over a week.
Service in Bangalore
I travel to your location across Bangalore, so you can be comfortable in your own home while I work. If you have specific traditional motifs you have seen or want to incorporate initials into the geometric flow, just let me know before I start.
