Classic & Timeless Wardrobe Designs
Classic design isn't about following trends; it's about a style that feels right for years. I focus on clean panels, solid construction, and details that age gracefully in any bedroom.
There is a timeless beauty in classic designs. This floor-to-ceiling hinged wardrobe in a clean white finish adds a sense of space and calm to the room. The panelled design gives it a touch of elegance, while the minimalist knobs keep the look modern and fresh.
Classic wardrobes can also be modern. This image shows how I use dual-tone combinations and clean lines to give a fresh look to timeless designs. The integrated dressing table on the left is a great example of blending classic style with modern needs.
I believe in high-quality design that stands the test of time. This wardrobe features a unique scalloped or curved door design, adding a soft, elegant touch. It's a durable and stylish solution, shown here integrated with a matching vanity.
About this collection
When we talk about a 'classic' finish, it is not just about the look—it is about structural integrity. I use 18mm BWP (Boiling Water Proof) plywood for the carcass so your shutters do not sag five years down the line. If you visit my Okhla workshop, I will show you exactly why that material thickness matters for a wardrobe that stays perfect, regardless of Delhi's humidity changes.
Why Choose Classic?
Many clients ask for modern trends that might look dated in a few years. A classic wardrobe—think clean, symmetrical panels, traditional hinged doors, and subtle matte finishes—brings a sense of calm and order. It works in almost any interior, from traditional homes to newer apartments.
My Approach to Longevity
- Solid Foundations: A classic look requires a solid build. I use premium 18mm calibrated plywood or HDHMR, ensuring the shutters hang straight.
- Smart Hardware: I rely on soft-close hinges from brands like Hettich or Hafele. These are tested for thousands of cycles, so your doors close silently every time.
- The Finish: For these styles, I recommend matte laminates or PU paint in neutral tones. They hide dust better than high-gloss and maintain that elegant, understated feel for years.
Making It Functional
Just because it looks traditional does not mean it lacks modern utility. Inside, I customize the layout to your specific needs. Whether you need a space for long coats, deep drawers for linens, or a dedicated dressing mirror, we map it out during the design phase.
If you have a unique corner or an awkward alcove, do not worry. Because I manufacture everything in my own factory in Sikandrabad, I can adapt these classic designs to fit odd shapes without needing to leave gaps or use fillers on site.
Visit my Okhla Experience Center to touch the materials yourself. We can discuss your specific dimensions and I can show you how we hide the hardware to keep the external look clean and timeless.
