Stronger muscles, better posture, and a lot of focus. I design these foundational drills to build the core stability and flexibility every child needs for gymnastics and for growing up healthy and active.

This video showcases two fundamental gymnastics poses: the cartwheel and the bridge. These movements are excellent for building full-body strength, coordination, and spinal flexibility.

A great example of a full workout, this clip shows a student navigating hurdles to improve agility, followed by a bridge pose to enhance back flexibility and strength.

Our apparatus work is key to building strength. Here, students practice an L-sit on the parallel bars to build core and arm strength, and a supported handstand to improve balance and shoulder stability.

This clip highlights two key components of gymnastics: explosive power and flexibility. Watch our students practice their vertical jumps and then transition into impressive splits.

This workout combines agility and flexibility. A student first jumps through hoops to work on coordination and then demonstrates a strong bridge pose, showcasing her back and shoulder flexibility.

This partner-assisted exercise is designed to build back and shoulder strength. Using a bar for resistance, students work together to complete the movement, also learning teamwork.

Hanging on the bar is a simple yet powerful exercise for building grip strength and decompressing the spine. This student shows great form as she hangs and even flips upside down with a smile.

Every class includes dedicated time for stretching and skill practice. This video shows a group stretch to improve flexibility, followed by a student practicing her cartwheel.

This clip shows two impressive flexibility skills. First, a student demonstrates a clean cartwheel, and then another performs a bridge with a one-leg extension, a challenging pose that requires balance and strength.

It's gym time. This powerful pose showcases incredible balance and flexibility, representing the strength and poise that our students develop through their training.

About Strength & Flexibility Foundations

Before your child masters a cartwheel or a bridge, we start with simple, controlled movements. I emphasize core-strengthening planks and grip-building bar hangs, teaching them that steady, repeated practice is the real secret to progress. It’s not about rushing; it’s about building a body that feels capable and ready for anything.
