About Lush Beginnings: Celebrations of New Life
I do not just set up decor; I look at your family roots, your favorite textures, and the spirit of your venue to build a celebration that feels truly yours. Whether it is a vibrant garden-themed Seemantha in your backyard or a structured indoor Orchard of Life for a Nāmakaraṇa, my team and I focus on the small, human details—like personalized coasters or custom-built bars—that anchor the event in your specific journey.
Our approach to celebrating new life is rooted in three distinct design narratives, each crafted to match the setting and the mood of the occasion.
The Garden of Gaia
For moments like a Seemantha, we often work in outdoor spaces, allowing the existing landscape to guide us. We layer tropical florals and fragrant blooms to turn a backyard into a lush sanctuary. The goal is to create a space that feels like a natural extension of the earth, emphasizing fertility and the nurturing joy of the coming months.
The Conservatory
This is our answer for couples seeking a clean, modern, and light-filled environment. By building custom structures—like we have done for events at the JW Marriott Bengaluru—we blur the line between the indoors and the outdoors. We use sage green tones, soft botanical prints, and furniture that invites guests to linger, ensuring the space feels serene rather than crowded.
The Orchard of Life
When a Nāmakaraṇa ceremony calls for an indoor setting, we bring the garden inside. We have transformed banquet halls, such as those at the Shangri-La Bengaluru, into sacred groves. By installing handcrafted trees, floral canopies, and vignettes featuring ripe fruits and lush foliage, we create a protected, enchanted forest setting. These elements honor the significance of the cradle (thottil) and the sacred nature of naming rituals, wrapping the baby in a space that feels grounded, traditional, and alive.
Every project is an exercise in intention. We carefully source fabrics, coordinate with florists for specific color palettes, and build props from scratch to ensure your celebration feels honest and deeply personal.
