Graphic Liner Makeup That Pushes Boundaries

I treat the face like a blank canvas. From sharp, architectural lines to playful, experimental doodles, let’s create something that breaks the rules.

Why limit liner to the eyes? For this experimental look, I painted a graphic white design directly onto the hair for a unique, avant-garde statement.

A different angle of the hair liner, showing how it frames the face and creates an unexpected focal point.

A compilation of some simple but effective graphic liner looks I've created on myself using different colors. It's my go-to way to add a creative touch to my daily makeup.

A bold, yellow graphic liner paired with a black lip. This look is all about high contrast and sharp lines for a modern, edgy feel.

Behind the scenes of my fashion exam at SMA Academy, where I created a thick, dramatic winged liner look.

A simple floating crease liner. This is an easy way to play with graphic shapes without doing a full, complex eye look.

A spiky, edgy eyeliner look done with just a black liquid liner. It's a great example of how to create a punk-inspired aesthetic with minimal products.

For this Y2K-inspired look, I bleached the brows and used a vibrant red liner for a pop of color, creating a very futuristic and unconventional style.

Sometimes I just like to scribble. This "human doodle" look was a therapeutic and fun way to play with lines and shapes directly on the face.

About The Art of the Liner

Whether you want a precise floating crease for a high-fashion shoot or experimental hair-liner patterns, getting the symmetry right is the hardest part. I work with water-activated pigments that hold up under studio lights, so your look stays sharp for the entire marathon shoot.

Graphic liner is where makeup moves from beauty to art. It is not just about drawing a wing on your eyelid; it is about geometry, contrast, and attitude. When I work on these looks, I focus on the precision that macro photography demands.

My process usually begins with skin prep using CTM routines to ensure a smooth, glass-like finish, which acts as the perfect base for high-contrast colors. Whether it is a bold yellow graphic line against a black lip or a subtle floating crease, I use professional-grade Aqua Colors that provide the pigment density needed to stand out on camera without cracking.

I love playing with unconventional placements—like extending designs onto the hair or using my face as a sketchpad for 'human doodles.' It is therapeutic and fun, but it requires patience. For these sessions, we will usually spend about 1.5 to 2.5 hours, including a quick mood board review to align on the concept. If you are preparing for an editorial shoot or just want a look that feels futuristic and edgy, bring your reference images and let's experiment.
