Conceptual & Embellished Makeup Artistry in Bengaluru
Transforming faces into art with graphic textures, crystals, and avant-garde concepts for editorial and creative shoots.
A close-up of the celestial pearl look, showing the careful placement of different sized pearls across the face. The makeup underneath is kept soft to let the embellishments stand out.

Another angle of the celestial concept, showing how the look works with different poses and lighting to create a dreamy, artistic portrait.
This short video captures the haunting, ethereal movement of the celestial pearl look, showing how it appears in motion against a dark background.

My recreation of the iconic Doja Cat look from Paris Fashion Week. This involved applying thousands of red rhinestones all over the face, a true test of patience.

About Conceptual & Embellished Artistry
These looks require more than just a brush. When I am setting thousands of rhinestones or mapping out celestial pearls, it is a marathon that takes hours of focus to ensure the textures hold up under studio lights. I focus on how the light catches the embellishments, making sure your look translates perfectly from the raw concept to the final frame.
Whether you are planning a high-fashion editorial or a complex art project, my goal is to turn the face into a sculpture. My process starts long before the shoot day. We align on the mood board, discuss lighting requirements, and determine which materials—be it latex for texture, water-activated paints, or high-density crystals—will bring the concept to life.
I work directly with your creative director, stylist, and photographer to ensure the makeup is not just an add-on, but a core element of the story. I have experience with everything from the heavy-duty artistry of red rhinestone full-face looks to ethereal, skin-like celestial designs. My training at SMA ensures that even when the makeup is 'wild,' the skin prep remains professional, using barrier creams and quality emollients to protect your skin.
Since these looks are labor-intensive, often requiring 3 to 8 hours depending on the complexity, I encourage booking well in advance. I also stay on set for touch-ups to handle the nuances of shooting in studio conditions. If your vision involves something sculptural, like props or specific headpieces, we can discuss that during the initial concept meeting to ensure everything is ready to go.
