Bold Editorial Makeup Artist in Bengaluru
I create makeup that tells a story, collaborating with photographers and stylists to bring high-concept beauty to life in front of the lens.
A retro-inspired look for a fashion editorial. I used a vibrant pink eyeshadow and styled the hair in rollers to create a fun, vintage vibe.
A moody, artistic shot from the 'Swaṟṇavalli' series. The focus is on the shimmering purple and pink metallic eyeshadow, which glows in the soft light.
A modern editorial look featuring a bold sweep of red blush draped from the temple to the cheek, creating a strong, graphic shape.
A contact sheet showing various expressions with a bold, glittery green eyeshadow look. This demonstrates how the makeup works for both serious and joyful shots.
A beauty shot focusing on the textured, emerald green eyeshadow and wet-look hair.
A joyful, smiling shot that shows how even bold, editorial makeup can feel fresh and lively.
Another variation of the green eyeshadow look, showing the beautiful texture of the glitter.
A powerful, direct-to-camera pose that highlights the intensity of the green eye makeup.
This candid laughing shot shows the versatility of the makeup for a beauty or fashion story.
A playful and confident expression, proving that high-fashion makeup doesn't have to be serious.
About Bold Editorial Statements
I don't just apply makeup, I look at your storyboard. Whether it is a high-contrast graphic liner for a beauty portrait or glass-skin textures for a fashion campaign, I ensure every stroke works for the camera, not just for the naked eye. If you have a specific mood board, let's look at it together first.
When you are shooting an editorial, the makeup needs to do more than look pretty. It needs to hold up under studio lighting, complement the styling, and sit perfectly from every angle the photographer chooses. My approach to editorial makeup starts with that collaboration.
I work closely with the creative director, the stylist, and the photographer before a single brush touches the skin. We discuss the lighting, the textures, and the narrative. If the brief calls for a sharp, graphic liner or a raw, dewy face, I know exactly which products, like NARS or Kryolan, will give us that finish.
I treat the face as a canvas. For editorial projects, this often means pushing boundaries—using paint, exploring negative space, or adding subtle embellishments that catch the light without looking overdone. I am based in Bengaluru and travel to studios across the city, so whether you are shooting at a local studio or a specific location, I bring my kit and my focus.
My goal is to make sure that the makeup doesn't just sit on the model's face, but feels like an essential part of the story you are trying to capture. Let's chat about your concept and see how we can make the look pop.
