Most couples come to me worried that they are camera shy or do not know how to pose. Honestly, that is where the best photos come from. I do not ask for stiff, mannequin-like stares. Instead, I give you a simple prompt, like 'tell a bad joke' or 'try to walk in sync', and let the natural chemistry take over. When you stop trying to look perfect, that is when you actually look your best.
My approach to candid pre-wedding photography is simple: I want to capture your relationship exactly as it is on a typical Tuesday, not just your best angles. Whether we are wandering through the historic, bustling lanes of Old Delhi, finding a quiet corner in a lush garden, or travelling to a fort in Jaipur, the focus remains on your connection.
Why Candid Matters
When you are relaxed, your personality comes through in the frames. This is why I avoid heavy, staged poses that make you feel stiff or awkward. Instead, I prioritize movement and interaction. We might go for a walk, share a snack, or just talk while I work around you. This allows me to capture the micro-expressions—the way you look at each other when you think no one is watching, or the genuine laughter that follows a clumsy moment.
What to Expect
Your session is a collaboration, not a production line. Before we start, we chat about what feels like 'home' to you. Do you want the retro charm of a Delhi street, or the serene vibe of a nature park? Once we pick the location, we pick a time that offers the best light. For my Classic and Signature packages, you get a mix of high-end retouched images and cinematic storytelling. My goal is for you to walk away with a collection that feels like a movie of your life, capturing the 'ishq' and the inside jokes that define your bond. If you are worried about the camera, do not be. Most of my favorite shots are the ones where the couple forgot I was even there.
