About The Beautiful Bride: Portraits & Details
During bridal portraits, I look for more than just a smile. I focus on the way you hold your hands, your reflection in the mirror while getting ready, and the way the light catches your jewellery. My goal is to make sure you look natural, not posed, so when you look at these photos later, you feel that same joy all over again.
When I am shooting bridal portraits, I always keep things simple. Whether you are wearing a traditional Paithani saree or a heavy wedding lehenga, the focus should be on you. I usually take these shots during the getting ready phase because that is when you are most relaxed. It gives me a chance to capture the details—the mehendi patterns, the weight of your nath, or the way you adjust your necklace.
For my Maharashtrian brides, I pay close attention to the traditional elements that make your look unique. I understand how important the Mundavalya and the Chandrakor bindi are to the final portrait, so I make sure these are framed perfectly. If you have a specific pose in mind or a family heirloom you want to highlight, just let me know before we start.
I generally mix candid shots with a few directed portraits to give you variety. You do not need to be a model to get great photos. I will guide you with simple directions to help you feel comfortable in front of the lens. My packages for bridal shoots are flexible, and I am happy to discuss what you need, whether it is a quick session or full coverage for the day. Let us chat about your wedding vision and how we can bring it to life.
