About The Beautiful Bride
When we do your bridal portraits, I don't ask for stiff, mannequin-like poses. I prefer capturing those in-between moments—the way you adjust your nath, or the look on your face when you check your reflection in the mirror. We usually set aside a dedicated 20-30 minute session when you are already dressed, ensuring we have time for both candid reactions and the classic portraits you need.
Bridal photography shouldn't feel like a chore. It is often the one time on your wedding day that you get to take a breath and see yourself as the bride you have dreamt of becoming.
My Approach to Bridal Portraits
My team and I, based in Mumbai and serving across Pune and Satara, focus on the details that define your style. Whether you are wearing a traditional Nauvari saree or a modern lehenga, the focus is on your natural comfort.
- The Getting Ready Phase: This is where the real emotion happens. I look for the nerves, the excitement, and the help from your bridesmaids or family. These aren't posed shots; they are memories of how you felt before walking down the aisle.
- Lighting and Technique: We use a mix of natural light and professional gear to make sure your jewelry, the intricate embroidery of your attire, and your makeup look crisp without looking over-processed.
- Collaboration: I encourage you to show me the poses you feel comfortable in. If you are shy in front of the camera, I will guide you with simple prompts rather than rigid instructions.
Planning Your Shoot
We typically schedule these portraits during the golden hour if you are outdoors, or in a quiet, well-lit corner of your venue if we are indoors. If you have specific traditional rituals like the Oti Bharan or other milestones you want documented alongside your bridal portraits, let me know. We can incorporate those into our timeline to ensure we don't rush through the day. My goal is for you to look at these photos years later and remember exactly how you felt in that moment, not just what you wore.
