About Gruha Pravesha: New Beginnings
During a housewarming ceremony, lighting often changes as you move from indoor Homa rituals to outdoor family gatherings. I use a blend of natural light and subtle, off-camera flash to ensure your photos feel authentic rather than staged. My focus is on catching the fleeting, candid interactions—the way family members greet each other or the quiet moments of pride as you step into your new home.
Your Gruha Pravesha is the day your 'kanasugalu' (dreams) find an address, and I believe those memories deserve to be preserved with care. My approach goes beyond taking static photos of the decor.
My Process for Housewarming Shoots
I offer a dedicated Milestone Event package that covers 6 to 8 hours of your ceremony. This ensures I am there to capture the early morning rituals, the Homa (sacred fire), and the post-ceremony celebration with extended family.
- Ceremony & Rituals: I focus on the sacred elements of the Gruha Pravesha. From the initial steps into the home to the traditional offerings, I shoot these moments candidly so the focus remains on the sanctity of the event.
- Cinematic Coverage: Included in this package are gimbal-stabilized video clips and drone footage. The drone is particularly useful for establishing shots of your new home and the neighborhood, providing a cinematic view of your milestone.
- Family Interaction: I prioritize the candid joy shared between generations. Whether it is a formal portrait of the family or spontaneous laughter during a meal, I work to make sure everyone feels comfortable in front of the lens.
What You Receive
For these events, I deliver 300+ high-resolution, color-corrected images and a 3 to 5-minute cinematic highlight film set to music. I also provide a documentary-style, longer edit of the full rituals so you have a complete record of the day to look back on years from now.
