We don't just set up a mandap. We transform convention halls into temples, creating heritage-inspired ceremony spaces where ancient architecture meets modern design.

The central mandap area, set over a mirrored surface reflecting the stunning floral ceiling. Inspired by the Brihadishwara Temple, this design features tiered seating for guests, intricate floral pathways, and towering deity paintings, creating a 360-degree immersive experience.

A perspective from between two of the massive, custom-fabricated pillars that defined the temple space. The pillars, finished to resemble ancient stone and gold, frame the view towards the main ceremony area, highlighting the architectural scale of the transformation.

A walkthrough of our most ambitious project: transforming a convention center into the Brihadishwara Temple. This video shows the journey from the grand entrance to the main hall, capturing the scale, intricate details, and the sacred atmosphere we created.

About Grand Wedding Ceremonies

To achieve the solid, authentic weight of stone in a temporary setting, we don't rely on plastic props. We use biodegradable printed canvas and custom-fabricated elements finished with metallic textures. This creates the grand, silent presence of a temple without the logistical nightmare of heavy civil construction.

Engineering the Sacred

When we design a Grand Wedding Ceremony, our goal is to shift the venue's reality. A standard hotel ballroom is a blank canvas, but for a heritage-themed wedding, it needs to feel permanent, sacred, and grounded. We achieve this by layering textures: we use high-density floral installations, such as cascading strings of tuberose and jasmine, to soften modern ceilings and create the intimate, fragrant atmosphere of an ancient sanctum.

The Architecture of the Mandap

Our structures are built to hold the room's energy. In our temple-inspired setups, like the one we designed at the Grand Hyatt Bolgatty, we focus on architectural integrity. We construct custom pillars finished in matte grey and gold to replicate stone and metalwork. These are not merely decorative; they serve as framing devices for the Varmala and the sacred fire, creating a tunnel-like, cinematic experience for guests as they move toward the stage.

Why This Matters

  • Scale & Impact: We use double-decker entryways and floor-to-ceiling panels to ensure that from the moment guests walk in, they have left the hotel lobby behind and entered a story we've curated.
  • Sustainability in Design: By using printed canvas for textures rather than heavy, non-recyclable materials, we manage to keep the aesthetic heavy and rich while ensuring the installation remains practical for a one-day event.
  • Detailing: It is in the brass statues, the Tanjore-style paintings, and the warm, directional lighting where the magic settles. We treat the mandap as the focal point, using mirror flooring to double the visual impact of the floral canopy above.
