These are the veterans who run the show. They aren't just pets; they are the mentors who welcome new rescues and show them the ropes of life at Wagg City.

The official introduction to our resident gundas. This little guy with the big personality is one of the mainstays of our pack.

A few of our residents relaxing. The black and white dog is looking up, waiting for a treat, while the others lounge on the table. They know the routine here.

Two of our long-term residents, a black Indie mix and a Labrador, standing side-by-side. They are the veterans of the pack.

A close-up of one of our handsome resident Indies. He's a confident and calm leader, watching over the yard.

This is Chhoti, one of our senior Indies. Even at her age, she loves to dig and explore the yard like a puppy.

It's a pleasure to see Sassy, a senior brown Indie, playing like a pup. This is what a safe and happy environment can do for an older dog.

These two are Whisky and Brandy, a bonded pair of resident dogs. They are often found together, whether playing or just relaxing.

About this collection

The resident gundas are why I don't use cages here. Because they have been raised in a stable pack, they instinctively know how to welcome nervous dogs and show them the ropes of outdoor play. When you visit, you will see them taking charge of the yard and teaching the newcomers that it is okay to just be a dog.

My resident gundas are the soul of Wagg City. In a typical boarding setup, dogs are isolated in kennels, but here, they live as a pack. These guys are the leaders who make that possible. Whether it is a senior Indie like Chhoti who still digs for treasure or a pair of sisters who have been here since they were pups, they hold the social structure together.

They are the ones who assess new boarders. They do not just bark; they communicate through body language, correcting play that gets too rough or comforting a dog that is missing home. This dog-to-dog training is far more effective than any human shouting commands. It helps with desensitization for reactive dogs and builds confidence in shy ones.

We are based in Halanayakanahalli, and this is where the real work of dog socialisation happens. When you bring your pet for cage-free boarding, they are not just being watched; they are being integrated into a functioning family unit. If you are looking for a place where your dog learns how to be a dog again, come meet the crew.

I do not run a business; I am just keeping this big, crazy family together. I spend my days scooping poop, breaking up playful fights, and hanging out with this crew of gundas who rule the yard. If you want to see how a real, balanced pack lives, come by for a visit.
