About Maternity Portraits: Modern & Traditional
When you book a session at my studio, we typically spend about three hours shooting, which gives us plenty of time for outfit changes. Whether you are switching from a modern, minimalist boho look to a traditional silk saree, that time allows you to settle in and get comfortable without feeling rushed. I always encourage you to bring your partner along, as those unposed, authentic interactions often become the photos you cherish the most.
Your Maternity Experience
Pregnancy is a whirlwind, and my goal is to create a space where you can pause and just be. I operate two dedicated studio spaces in Bangalore, in Kasturinagar and Rajajinagar, both equipped to handle different aesthetic styles.
Modern Boho vs. Traditional Elegance
Many of my clients want a mix of looks. If you prefer the boho-chic vibe, I have setups with pampas grass, comfy couches, and soft, natural lighting. These sessions are perfect for jeans-and-shirt looks or flowy maternity dresses where the focus is entirely on your bump and your natural glow.
For those wanting to honor tradition, I am very familiar with shooting the classic look. If you are planning to wear a heavy silk saree and traditional jewelry, I will guide you on the best poses that highlight the grace of the attire while keeping the photos feeling current and not stiff.
What to Expect During Your Session
- Duration: We block out about 3 hours. This isn't just for taking pictures; it is for you to relax. If you need a break or a snack, we take it.
- Partners: Please bring them. Whether it's a gentle kiss or just holding hands, these interactions make the photos feel like a story rather than just a portrait.
- Deliverables: I focus on skin tone correction and lighting to ensure you look your best. You will receive 20 to 25 professionally color-graded images. The raw files are also provided so you have the complete memory of the day.
- Timeline: You can expect your digital gallery link within 9 business days after the shoot.
