Stunning Bridal Mehndi Designs and Portrait Art by Vivek
A collection of my finest work, from intricate bridal storytelling to hand-drawn portraits. See why my clients trust me for their most important days.
This is the magic of freehand portrait mehndi. I teach my students how to capture a person's likeness using just a photo on a phone and a henna cone. This skill is part of my advanced portrait workshop.
A full bridal story on the arm, showing the doli ceremony. Creating narrative designs like this is an art I love sharing in my bridal mehndi classes. Every detail, from the expressions to the clothing, tells a part of the bride's story.
A live class demonstration of a rose cuff design. My teaching is all about showing and doing. Students see me create a design step by step and then practice with my personal guidance.
Creating a portrait of Shri Krishna is a form of meditation for me. In my classes, I teach the techniques for drawing divine figures, focusing on capturing the serene and powerful expressions. Radhe Radhe.
From a simple outline to a full bridal masterpiece. This video shows the entire process of creating a traditional design featuring peacocks, lotuses, and intricate jaal work. This is the level of detail my students aspire to.
People always ask about my mehndi color. This is the result of my 100% natural, organic henna paste after just five minutes. I teach my students how to mix their own paste to get this deep, rich stain every time.
A beautiful and modern back-hand design. This style combines floral elements with clean, geometric jaal patterns, a very popular choice for festivals and parties. It's a great design for intermediate learners to master.
Me with a happy client. For me, mehndi is not just business, it's about connecting with people on their special days. This art is an 'ibadat' (worship), and I am grateful to share it.
About Featured
When I draw a couple’s scene or a deity, I don't use stencils. I use a fine-tip cone to capture expressions in real-time, matching the intensity of the paste to the curve of the skin for a deep, rich stain that lasts.
Most people see the final color, but the real effort is in the preparation. This gallery features my best work, where I weave stories into the palms of brides. Whether it is a doli scene or a portrait of the groom, I draw these freehand. This ensures the design is unique to you and flows naturally with your hand's anatomy.
The Organic Difference
Every design you see here was created using my own 100% organic henna mix. I avoid chemicals because I want the color to be a deep, rich maroon, and I want it to be safe for everyone. This is the same paste I teach my students to mix in my workshops.
Why I Teach
Beyond my bridal work, I am passionate about passing this kala forward. Many of the designs in this collection are actually demos I have created for my students during classes. I believe that if you want to master this, you need to understand the basics of cone control, paste consistency, and the philosophy behind the art.
My Approach
Whether it is a heavy bridal set for a wedding in Delhi or a delicate portrait for an engagement, my focus remains the same: the client’s comfort and the depth of the stain. I do not rush. Each curve and line is placed with intention, ensuring that the final result looks as good on the day of the event as it does days later.
