Discovering India’s Landscapes and Wildlife Through the Lens
A safari is not just about ticking names off a checklist. It is about the morning mist over the water and the ancient trees that stand as silent witnesses to our land's stories. Join me to experience these natural spaces as they truly live..
The serene Nagzhira Lake, the lifeline of its sanctuary in Maharashtra. I have spent entire days here, watching as every resident of the forest, big and small, eventually comes to its banks to quench their thirst.
This is a montage of the diverse beauty of India, from the spiritual calm of Himalayan prayer flags to the vibrant life in our jungles. Preserving this natural heritage is a vital part of our nation's journey and development.
About Landscapes and the Safari Experience
When I lead a safari, we are not just chasing tigers for a quick photograph. I spend time at places like Nagzhira Lake, showing you how the entire forest ecosystem relies on a single water source throughout the changing seasons. My goal is to help you see the 'why' behind the wildlife behavior, connecting these moments to the heritage of our land..
For two decades, I have walked these forests with a camera in hand, documenting everything from the secretive lives of leopards to the communal habits of our national bird. Many travelers come to me asking only for guaranteed sightings, but I tell them the truth: the jungle is wild and unpredictable. When you join my expeditions, we focus on patience and understanding. Whether we are in the dense heat of Tadoba or the misty corridors of Corbett, I teach you to look for the alarm calls, the pugmarks, and the subtle shifts in the forest atmosphere that signal an animal is nearby.
I believe nature is deeply connected to our cultural festivals and traditions. Seeing a tigress family on patrol can remind one of the strength of Maa Durga, just as the arrival of the Neelkanth brings thoughts of Lord Shiva. My tours are designed to bridge this gap between our modern lives and the wild.
We keep our group sizes small because the jungle speaks loudest when we are quiet. You will not find any rushed itineraries here. Instead, you get my personal guidance on lighting, composition, and, most importantly, the ethics of respectful observation. If you are looking for a loud tourist trail, this may not be for you. But if you want to understand the heartbeat of our wilderness and document its stories with honesty, then Shubh Yatra—let us start our journey together..
