My Wildlife Photography Exhibitions and Publications
It is a humbling experience to see my documentation of Indian wildlife displayed in public spaces and recognized by esteemed institutions.
This is the poster from my exhibition on the Peacock, our national bird, held at Museo Camera in Gurugram. I was delighted to collaborate with the renowned sculptor Shri Gopal Namjoshi to celebrate the beauty and life of the peafowl.
This was the invitation for the preview of my peacock photographs at Museo Camera. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Honourable Minister of Education, Forest, and Tourism of Haryana, Shri Kanwar Pal. It was a great honour for me.
This photograph, titled "Unconditional Love," shows a peahen protecting her chicks. It was one of my exhibits at the recent exhibition at Museo Camera. I am very thankful to my friend and guide, Aditya Arya, for creating such a wonderful space for photographers.
This image of two peacocks fighting for territorial rights was also an exhibit at the Museo Camera exhibition. I captured this powerful moment in the heart of Delhi on April 22, 2014. It shows the struggle for survival that is a part of nature.
About As Seen In: Exhibitions & Publications
When I collaborate with spaces like Museo Camera, I do not just hang photographs on a wall. We design the exhibit to tell a complete story, like the 'Peacock' series where sculptures by Shri Gopal Namjoshi stood alongside my photographs to give the viewer a real look at our national bird's behavior, not just a static image.
For me, these exhibitions are not about personal glory. They are about bringing the jungle to the city and sparking a conversation. When I exhibit at places like Museo Camera, my goal is to ensure the viewer leaves with more knowledge than they arrived with. Whether it is a tiger family at a watering hole or the intricate courtship dance of a peafowl, each exhibit includes detailed captions that I have written based on my years of fieldwork.
I believe that nature is connected to our culture, and my exhibitions often reflect this, linking the wild to our festivals and beliefs. If you are looking to bring a piece of this documentation into your own home or office, all the images featured in these exhibits are available as fine art prints. These are museum-grade prints, meant to last for 75 plus years, ensuring that the wild story stays fresh on your wall. If you are an editor or a curator looking for specific animal behavior shots for a publication, I also provide high-resolution licensing for editorial and commercial use. Let us discuss how these stories can find a place in your space.
