This is a small collection of my most cherished photographs. Each image holds a special story, a moment of patience, or a connection to our Indian heritage that I am proud to share with you. These are the moments from the wild that have truly stayed with me.
The Royal Bengal Tiger
Here are my photographs of our national animal, the Panthera tigris. I have been fortunate to see these magnificent cats in many of our country's best reserves like Tadoba, Pench, Ranthambor, and Corbett. These images show them as mothers, in courtship, and simply living with majesty in their natural habitat.
The Peacock's Tale: Our National Bird
The peacock has become my passion. In our culture, it is a symbol of beauty, grace, and divinity. This collection shows the many moods of our national bird, from its vibrant courtship dance and territorial fights to quiet moments of love and family life. I have tried to capture its full story.
Documenting Rare Moments: Courtship & Behaviour
As a photographer, I am most interested in capturing the real behaviour of animals. This collection is very close to my heart as it shows rare moments of courtship, mating, and family life across different species. Many of these images help to debunk old myths and show the true, scientific side of the animal world.
Mammals of the Indian Wilderness
Beyond the tiger, India's forests are home to a rich variety of mammals. This collection features some of the other wonderful creatures I have had the privilege to photograph. It includes the powerful Indian Gaur, the gentle Sambar deer, and the playful Langur monkeys in their natural homes.
Birds of the Indian Subcontinent
India is a paradise for bird lovers, with over 1300 species. This gallery showcases a small part of that incredible diversity. Here you will find rare birds like the Bengal Florican, majestic raptors, and common city birds, each with its own unique story and behaviour.
Cultural Connections & Storytelling
For me, wildlife is deeply connected to our Indian culture, mythology, and festivals. A tigress reminds me of Maa Durga, a peacock's dance feels like a prayer, and a Neelkanth is a sign of good fortune. This collection highlights these special connections that I see in my work.
As Seen In: Exhibitions & Publications
I am humbled that my work has been recognized and shared by various respected organizations. This collection includes posters from my exhibitions and photographs that have been featured in publications like Sanctuary Asia or displayed at institutions like WWF-India.
Landscapes & Promotional Videos
Sometimes, the beauty of the jungle is not just in the animals but in the landscape itself. This small collection includes some of my promotional videos and scenic shots, like a colourful sunset or the serene Nagzhira lake, which is the lifeline for the animals in that park.
