About this collection
When I work with children, I abandon the 'say cheese' routine entirely. Whether I am shooting at a park or in my studio, I prioritize letting kids play and move, focusing on the genuine expressions that emerge when they are just being themselves.
I learned early on that you cannot direct children the way you direct a model. My niece, Aradhya, is my primary muse for these shoots, and observing her helped me realize that the best photos happen in the moments between the poses.
My approach to family and kids' photography is divided into two distinct styles:

Candid Outdoor Portraits: I prefer local parks or open spaces where kids can run, climb, and explore. This allows me to use natural light to capture their curiosity and genuine joy. These sessions are perfect for family albums or memories you want to keep for a lifetime.

Commercial Kids' Fashion: For brands, I shift into a more controlled environment in my Delhi studio. We use professional lighting and backdrop setups to showcase apparel. Even here, I keep the vibe relaxed so the young models feel comfortable and confident, which shows in the final images.
If you are planning a shoot, expect to spend about 90 minutes to two hours with me. We don't rush. I believe that capturing a real personality is more important than checking boxes off a shot list. I also collaborate with stylists if we are building a specific concept for a brand or a themed family shoot.
