About Mehndi Moments & Details
I often suggest we steal away for a quiet 15-minute couple session right after your mehndi is done. While your family and friends are busy with the festivities, this gives us a chance to get those intimate, focused shots of you two—without the crowd in the background—using that soft, natural evening light.
My approach to Mehndi photography is simple: I treat it like a documentary of your emotions. You won't find me asking you to stare blankly at the lens or hold an uncomfortable pose for ten minutes. Instead, I’m looking for the connection between you and your family—the grandmother adjusting your maang tikka, the bridesmaids teasing you while you’re stuck with henna on your hands, and the laughter that erupts when someone tries to feed you while you can’t move.
Technically, I use my Sony Alpha A7 IV to keep the files sharp but natural, leaning into warm, vibrant color grades that suit the golden hour or indoor haldi lighting. I like to mix wide shots that show the entire venue setup and the decor, with tight macro shots that focus on the details of your henna design and jewelry.
If we are doing a session, I’m there to guide you, not direct you like a film set. You’ll hear me say things like, 'Bas, thoda chin down kar,' just to get the angle right while you’re busy having a genuine conversation.
Whether you are planning a small home event in Navi Mumbai or a destination wedding, my goal is the same: to give you a collection of images that don’t just show what happened, but remind you exactly how it felt. From the initial getting-ready phase to the candid smiles during application, I’m documenting your story as it unfolds naturally. If you have specific shots in mind or a family ritual you want captured, just let me know beforehand, and I’ll make sure my team is positioned to catch it.
