Engagement sessions and Sangeet nights have completely different energies, and I approach them with two distinct styles to match.
For engagement ceremonies, I focus on the intimacy of the moment. These are often outdoor, golden-hour sessions where we take time to capture the connection between you two, along with those raw reactions during the ring exchange. I love incorporating natural elements like garden paths or trees to frame your portraits, keeping things soft, romantic, and authentic. If you want to include your pets or have a specific quiet spot in mind, I am all for it.
When the Sangeet starts, the approach shifts entirely. This is about movement, chaos, and raw joy. To capture the energy of the dance floor, I use a mix of wide-angle shots to cover the crowd and creative techniques like a slow-shutter swirl to add that artistic, dynamic blur to your dance moves. I want you to look back at these photos and feel the loudness of the music and the intensity of the laughter.
My team is typically 2-3 people for standard days, but we can scale up to 4-5 for larger productions including drone coverage for those massive venue shots.
